With the fourth consecutive red carpet appearance Angelina Jolie again proved her as the star of award season. This time she lightened up the Producers Guild Awards with her iconic looks. The ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’ director was decked in a slim fit black lacy creation from Michael Kors.
The color of power, authority, strength and mystery is one of Jolie’s favorite colors and after her sultry red and white Globes’ look, she returned to her effortless sensual black style.
Angelina teamed up the black ensemble with Ferragamo heels and trendy black earrings. Her classy black handbag and gemstone ring were also noteworthy. She left her hair loose which was adding more charm to her already ravishing looks.
Angelina was honored with the Stanley Kramer Award for her directorial debut ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’. She was joined by Brad Pitt at the award function who also dressed in black Gucci suit for the evening. Brad was not carrying his otherwise accessory this time.
After receiving the award, Jolie stated that her film would help people not to forget about the past. She also emphasized on the story of her film which explains about the misery and bravery of her films characters.
‘The Artist’ was another big winner at the event who took the best producer award after beating ‘The Descendants’. The silent film is heading towards the Oscars as the nominations will be declared on Tuesday.
